Full Week Kayak Expedition

Enjoy great Alaskan sea kayaking with a week-long expedition in Prince William Sound.  Your chance to really get out there, settle in, and explore.

You can also choose a shorter, 3 DAY KAYAKING EXCURSION in the tidal waters of Alaska.

Description

Sea Kayaking is the best way to experience an Alaska Kayak Expedition in Alaska’s Prince William Sound.

On this Alaska Kayak Expedition, you’ll have an entire week to explore the bays, coves and fjords of the western part of the Sound. Seeing dozens of glaciers and waterfalls, enjoying occasional hikes in the lush rainforest and camping on beautiful beaches. These experiences will give you the immersive Alaska coast adventure you are looking for.

As we travel each day, we’ll look for a huge variety of sea birds, eagles, sea otters, river otters, bears, seals, sea lions and whales. This is true expedition kayaking, not just a paddle around a long lunch break. The remoteness, the weather and the paddling itself  makes this trip challenging but the rewards can be great.

We’ll be on the water by lunch on Day 1, picked up by water taxi around lunch time on Day 7.

Most importantly, you need to be ready to deal with living and traveling in the wilds of Alaska for an extended time. You do not need to be an extreme athlete or outdoor person for this trip. No prior experience is needed.
